The theme: Street. Nobody can quite say where the genre begins and ends. Street photography can be a portrait of a city or a piece of reportage. The street can be the main character, or just the backdrop for other people’s stories as they happen and give way to the next one. Your story might be about getting to know a new country, or about a fresh look at a place that’s long since become home. It doesn’t matter what you shot it on: a camera, a phone or film. What matters is that the photo is yours and that you have something to say. Who can submit a photo? Anyone. You don’t need to be a professional photographer (though you’re welcome to be one). The organizers select the photos for the exhibition and may decline a submission.
