The world premiere of “The Summer Journey”, an Israeli counterpart, is presented in the 200th year of Schubert’s famed Winterreise.This new song cycle travels through the Hebrew calendar — from the early-summer heat of Iyar to the end of Tishrei — moving from the initial departure to the journey’s renewed beginning.

You won’t find frozen lakes, great rivers, or snowstorms here, but rather our own landscapes: the scenery of this land and of the soul.
