Winner of the Palme d'Or at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival.

The Gheorghius, a devout Romanian-Norwegian couple, resettle in a village on a remote fjord, where they become close to their neighbors, the Halbergs. Their children bond despite their different upbringings. When the Gheorghius' adolescent daughter, Elia, arrives at school with bruises on her body, the community begins to wonder whether the traditional upbringing the Gheorghiu children receive from their parents might have anything to do with it.
