Hudson Hawk

Fresh out of prison, master thief Hudson Hawk finds himself drawn into an outrageous heist: breaking into the Vatican to recover a little-known invention by Leonardo da Vinci—a machine capable of turning lead into gold. Riding the wave of Bruce Willis’s Die Hard success, this wildly inventive crime comedy delivers a labyrinthine plot, razor-sharp dialogue, eccentric characters, and Willis at his most mischievous. A spectacular box-office failure upon release, Hudson Hawk has since earned a well-deserved cult following. Nearly four decades later, its irreverent humor, playful absurdity, and infectious refusal to take itself seriously remain as refreshing as ever.
