About the movie: Rose

Rose

In the early seventeenth century, a mysterious soldier arrives in an isolated Protestant village, claiming to be the rightful heir to an abandoned farm. Seeking acceptance within the suspicious community, Rose considers marrying a local farmer's daughter. But this new life depends on a borrowed name and the concealment of the sex assigned at birth.
