A few days after October 7, the players of Kfar Aza’s soccer team who survived the terrible day decided to continue playing together. Despite losing friends and family, despite several of the team’s players being kidnapped to Gaza – they understood that the framework, the pursuit of the ball, and the arguments with the referee would keep them going, even if it was only for ninety minutes. When the offer came to return and play in their community tournament, they didn’t know what to decide.
