Waltz with Bashir

An animated road film set within the depths of director and scriptwriter Ari Folman’s memory, in an attempt to decipher a missing piece of memory from the three days of massacre at Sabra and Shatila in September 1982. Human memory is deceiving, and perhaps only free illustrations combined with hysterical animation can point towards those missing days from the distant past.
