Di Gasn Trio (Yiddish for “Trio of the Streets”) brings a fresh, bold take on klezmer and Balkan music to the stage. Drawing inspiration from Eastern European musical traditions, the ensemble performs original compositions infused with elements of jazz and Middle Eastern music, delivering a vibrant, virtuosic, and high-energy live performance.
At the heart of their music lies a constant dialogue between the instruments: they speak, sing, argue, and joke with one another. Through captivating melodies, exhilarating rhythms, and spontaneous improvisation, the ensemble breathes new life into centuries-old traditions, giving them a fresh and distinctly contemporary voice.
