Gray
An evening presenting a relevant piece by Tamir Ginz and a sweet duet by Itzik Galili

Opening: “Cherry Pink and Apple Blossom White” by Pérez Prado was a huge hit in 1951, topping the US charts for 10 weeks. After a visit to Cuba that left him enchanted, Itzik Galili created a funny duet to this amazing music. It’s a comic pair full of sparks, freedom, sexiness, and wonderful absurdity. She’s a sultry feline, and he’s the nerd, hopelessly caught up in the game of seduction…

Main work: Gray — as there is no black or white and all is blur and under smoke.

Tamir Ginz in "Gray" makes an important statement in reaction to the events of the past years. He addresses the clash between people in the struggle for land and identity in a place where demagogy and incitement tear apart any hope for peace and reconciliation. Gray is looking into the individual resilience under crises and how despite the overall suffering we try to maintain hope for the future.
