Canarro represents a virtuosic encounter between Swing Manouche and Hungarian Gypsy music — a musical journey between Paris and Budapest that you won’t experience anywhere else.
When Canarro takes the stage, two worlds connect: 1930s Paris, where Django Reinhardt revolutionized the jazz guitar, and the dazzling universe of Budapest’s coffeehouse culture, where Gypsy virtuosos became legends.

Swing Manouche and Hungarian coffeehouse music might seem worlds apart, but they are actually close relatives: both celebrate freedom, virtuosic improvisation, and the joy of life. Canarro’s music reveals these shared roots — spicing up Django’s classics with a Hungarian flavor and weaving both traditions into the ensemble’s original compositions.

This is not fusion for the sake of fusion, but rather a natural dialogue between two great European musical cultures.
