An original, moving play about the final, intimate, and lesser-known chapter in the life of the poet Alexander Penn!
The play features some of Penn’s famous poems: "Suru Meni", "Not I, the Man", "Confession", and "Was It or Wasn’t It".
The story moves back and forth between the present — Penn’s final days — and his turbulent past, full of passion, great ideals, alcohol, and family.
The play touches on the soul-searching of a great creator who was sidelined from the public discourse due to his political choices, and it explores the question of sacrificing talent and creative life for the sake of ideology.
