Ledaber El HaKir (Talking to the Wall) Lecture * Hyde Park * Sing-along

Over the years, thousands of protestors have taken to the streets of Israel. Many carried signs, often handwritten. Crowds chanted, waved slogans, and confronted reality — filling the public space with marks, stickers, and inscriptions. But these are not the only signs of resistance.
Join us for an evening dedicated to the politicization of our urban space. We will kick off with a lecture by Zipa Kempinsky on the Florentin graffiti wars since October 7, 2023. By peeling back layers of paint, we will uncover the deep rifts in Israeli society and look closely at the harsh texts on our everyday walls — messages that have almost become invisible to us.
Then, we switch to a Hyde Park-style platform. Artists and activists will take a second look at urban phenomena that don’t seem political at first glance. Each speaker gets 7 minutes, and the floor is open to you, the audience, to join in!
Speakers: Omer Sheizaf, Oz Zloof, Stav Axenfeld, and Roy Gordon.
We will wrap up the night with drinks and a communal sing-along of peace and hope. On the keyboard: Adar Ben Ezra.
