Nistar is an acoustic project by Daniel Ivrin and Ariel Laikin, created through an exploration of mystical traditions and the discovery of a deep connection to nature and the universe through music.
The performance offers an opportunity for presence and connection, creating an intimate encounter between the performers and the audience, as well as between each listener and themselves. The music draws inspiration from jazz, psychedelic rock, and neo-classical music, alongside diverse ethnic influences from around the world. Blending instrumental compositions with vocals, it creates expansive sonic landscapes that transcend cultures and borders. Joining the performance are Talia Erdal on cello and Mika Rani on trumpet.
The concert series is held in honor of Judi Shostack and her family, with the support of the Jerusalem Foundation.
