OTOTO by Castle in Time Orchestra | Special Guests: Ohad Fishof, Noa Zuk and Musrara Modern Ensemble.
The orchestra will perform the piece OTOTO, songs by Ohad Fishof, and Terry Riley’s iconic piece A Rainbow in Curved Air. The piece OTOTO breaks down the word, as it sounds and is written: “O” represents long periods, a breathing open space, while “T” represents short and repeating rhythmic events. The piece is influenced by the sonic world of science fiction, African rhythms, and minimalist music. It features virtuoso solo sections, alongside massive group moments. OTOTO was created thanks to the generous support of Mifal HaPais and Beit Avi Chai. The orchestra is supported by the Israeli Ministry of Culture and Tel Aviv Municipality, and operates under the Association of Multidisciplinary Art.
