PATROL | by Eyal Dadon

“Dadon reveals himself as a master of crafting a unique movement language with a distinctive quality | Degas’ charcoal drawings come to life on stage.”

— Ran Brown, Haaretz

PATROL creates a fantastical world, superhuman, deeply physical, mysterious, and breathtakingly beautiful.

— Eden Kramer

Duration: 50 minutes

The Work:

Empty corridor.

Everything white.

Started walking.

Still corridor.

Kept walking.

Scent changes.

Kept going.

Light fades.

Walls crack.

Started running.

Looked back.

Start distant.

Reached mud.

Sprinted hard.

Floor overhead.

Walls break.

You’re horse.

At the heart of the work stands the image of a horse on watch – noble, steady, and alert.

The body scans the horizon.

Focused on the search.

Hoping to find nothing.
