Rachmaninoff – Piano Concerto No. 3
Widely regarded as one of the most formidable works in the piano repertoire, Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 3 combines extraordinary technical virtuosity with profound lyricism and emotional depth. Composed in 1909, it is a quintessential example of the composer’s late Romantic style, uniting breathtaking pianistic brilliance with deeply expressive musical writing.
Tchaikovsky — Symphony No. 3
Composed in 1875, Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 3, later nicknamed "Polish, " combines the brilliance of a richly colored orchestra with an unusually festive spirit. Less dramatic than the composer’s later symphonies, it nevertheless displays the soaring melodies and Romantic warmth for which he is renowned.
