Dawn Tyler Watson presents a tribute to the great matriarchs of jazz: Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, and Dinah Washington.
Dawn Tyler Watson, a Montreal-based singer and songwriter, has won numerous international awards, including the 2020 JUNO Award for Blues Album of the Year. She is a Maple Blues Award (MBA) winner for Song of the Year and Best Album/Producer, holding an additional six MBAs and nine Quebec Lys Blues Awards. Performing alongside an outstanding band led by top guitarist Ben Racine, she took first place at the 2017 International Blues Challenge in Memphis.
With a sound that seamlessly blends jazz, soul, rock, and gospel, Watson pushes the boundaries of traditional blues, elevating it to a new and exciting dimension.
