YUZ is an instrumental project led by guitarist and composer Uriah Witztum. Blending Mediterranean influences with psychedelic and space-rock into a cinematic, hypnotic sound.
Drawing from Greek, Turkish and Israeli musical roots, YUZ creates rich instrumental landscapes built from layered guitars, strings, synthesizers and deep grooves. The live show, performed with a virtuosic ensemble, is an immersive and dynamic journey driven by unique melodies, emotion and charismatic on stage presence. YUZ has performed at leading festivals including IMSF, InDnegev and the Jerusalem Festival for the Arts.
His debut album “Mono Moon” (2022) gained hundreds of thousands of streams worldwide, particularly in Turkey, the Balkans and South America.
His second album, “Emerald Pick” (2024), received international recognition, with the single GLADIOLA featured on official Spotify and Apple Music playlists and covered by major music blogs. In 2025, YUZ released “Acustica”, continuing to grow his international audience especially in Turkey and Japan.
