Голубая Луна

March 31, 1943. On the opening night of Oklahoma! on Broadway—the first collaboration between Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein—Lorenz Hart sits alone at the bar of Sardi’s, once Rodgers’ creative partner and co-author of enduring hits. As theatergoers spill into the restaurant, he is left to reckon with the acclaim surrounding his former partner, searching for a new path in love and work. With wit, fluid camerawork, and a finely shaded performance by Ethan Hawke, Richard Linklater shapes a tender, clear-eyed portrait of an artist in crisis.
