Shy Tsubasa and outgoing Gyotaro, two third-graders, become best friends. But when Tsubasa begins to suspect that Gyotaro is an alien, fear and suspicion tear them apart—until they meet again 20 years later under dark circumstances. A dark, poetic and suspenseful drama about the connections that shape our lives, told with remarkable cinematic confidence.
