For 8 years on open stages, a single Tel Aviv life, psychological therapy, and a lifetime as the daughter of a Russian family – Ella Kanevsky (the one tearing apart the videos, and the one writing this text now) collected materials that came together into an hour-and-a-half stand-up show!
The show provides a glimpse into Ella’s life, combining high and low humor, stories and characters, complex and simple, and all with the lightness and naturalness that characterizes her. And is she related to Rabbi Kanievsky? You will discover all of this in the show.
The show deals with late singlehood, womanhood, aging, apps, therapy, divorced parents, polyamory, growing up in a Russian home with a grandmother who is Stalin, and more.
