A Heavenly Comedy by Anat Gov
Ella, a 42-year-old psychotherapist and single mother to a child on the autism spectrum, receives an urgent phone call from a mysterious patient desperate for an immediate session.
When he arrives, it turns out the patient is none other than God himself, the Creator of the Universe, suffering from deep depression.
Disheartened by His complex relationship with humankind, He intends to put an end to humanity – leaving Ella with just one hour to change His mind and save the world.
In this smart and touching comedy, Anat Gov, one of Israel’s greatest playwrights, offers us a compassionate, deeply human look at life’s challenges – and at the decrees that God, oh my God, casts upon us.
